Know More
The Camden Rehabilitation Centre is my final University architecture project designed to provide a transformative environment for homeless individuals in Camden, one of London’s most dynamic and diverse areas.®
Project Goal
Situated at the heart of the city, the centre aims to offer a supportive space for individuals battling addiction and homelessness, helping them overcome personal struggles, rebuild their lives, and reintegrate into society. Through thoughtful design and an emphasis on dignity, privacy, community, and accessibility, the project envisions not just a temporary shelter, but a long-term sanctuary for healing and rehabilitation.

More Info
Camden is a borough known for its vibrant cultural scene and a mix of residential, commercial, and social spaces.
However, it also faces significant challenges, including a visible homelessness crisis. Despite its cultural vibrancy, Camden has a high number of homeless individuals, many of whom grapple with addiction, mental health issues, and the stigma surrounding homelessness. Establishing a rehabilitation centre in Camden addresses an urgent need for a facility that not only provides shelter but also offers specialized support for these individuals. The centre’s location is strategically positioned within Camden’s urban fabric, enabling easy access to transport links, local amenities, and public services. This proximity ensures that rehabilitation clients can seamlessly transition back into society once they are ready, facilitating reintegration and reducing isolation.
